Growing in Faith TogetherGood Shepherd Lutheran Church

Nurture the seeds of faith and curiosity for a lifetime.

WEEKLY WORSHIP

Sunday, 9 and 11am
Children and parents learn from each other as they encounter the love of Christ in community and hear the gospel together. We encourage families to come as they are to worship—noise, crumbs, and all—and grow in their Christian faith together.

LITURGY IN A BOX

Sunday, 9 and 11am
We encourage children to be active participants in their worship experience, whether by serving as worship volunteers or learning about liturgy through supplemental materials provided in the “Liturgy in a Box” kits.

ADULT FORUM

Sunday, 10:15am
We cover a variety of topics at the intersection of faith and life, such as racism, sexuality,  mental health, and caring for creation.

PRE-K–5TH GRADE

Sunday, 10:15am
We start with a high-energy group opening, then break into small groups for Bible lessons, arts and crafts, music, and games. Teachers focus on creating a safe space for kids to explore their faith and ask the hard questions.

6TH–8TH GRADE CONFIRMATION

Sunday, 10:15am
Engaging their natural curiosity about God, we discuss scripture, the Trinity, prayer, and life. We do service projects and learn practical faith skills, such as how to lead Bible study and pray aloud. This journey ends with a party to celebrate each child owning their faith journey.

9TH–12TH GRADE YOUTH GROUP

Wednesday, 6:30pm
With a focus on relating the Bible to their lives as teenagers today. Pastor Clint and young adult leaders provide opportunities for the youth to deepen their relationship with God. A mix of adventure, learning, and challenge, this group has many fun outings and community service projects.
