Winter — 2013 LOGOS Program

What is LOGOS?

LOGOS is not an acronym. In Greek, LOGOS literally means “The Word.”

Logos is a midweek enrichment program that is based on having fun, building Christian relationships with other kids and adults of all ages and providing opportunities to learn about God.

Make room for LOGOS in yours and your child’s busy life. It is important to build their relationship with God and with each other!

LOGOS meets from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights in the Fall and Winter.

Parent Participation:

We need MANY adult volunteers to make this program a success and to build loving relationships. Parents and GSLC participation is an essential part of LOGOS. Breaking the tasks into small jobs where no one is overburdened is one way we treat each other as Children of God.

Asking parents and GSLC to participate in serving the youth and children and teaching them the way discipleship is an important way we demonstrate discipleship, spreading the gospel and healthy multigenerational relationships though our actions as well as our words.

Ways you can help are: playing games and crafts with kids as a recreation leader, enjoying dinner with the kids as a “table parent,” providing help in the kitchen (prep, cooking, serving or cleaning up), leading a worship skills class, leading a Bible class.
