GSLC provides timely and unconditional support to individuals and families struggling to pay rent and bills. GSLC’s Community Aid fund is distributed until depleted and replenished through your ongoing donations and fundraising efforts. Thank you for your gifts of compassion and solidarity.

  • All individuals and families experiencing difficulty paying rent or bills are eligible for assistance.

  • No formal documentation or explanation of financial need is required to access aid.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Aid is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until funds deplete.

  • Applicants can request assistance by contacting the church office or designated point of contact.

Application Process

  • $250 maximum for utilities or other bill assistance per household.

  • $500 maximum for rental assistance per household.

  • Up to $1000 for church members expressing urgent needs or exceptional circumstances.

  • Aid is distributed without a formal review or approval process.

  • The church administration or designated committee may periodically review the status of available funds and adjust funding limits as needed.

Documentation and Accountability

  • While GSLC does not require documentation from applicants, recipients may be asked to provide basic contact information for record-keeping purposes.

  • GSLC respects the privacy and dignity of aid recipients by maintaining confidentiality regarding their circumstances.
